You'll notice that this blog went kaput, so I've started a new blog that isn't as structured as a 365.  My new blog, photos by kekis, is simply a place where I can post some of the favorite photographs I take along the way.  Come check it out!

Don't worry.  There won't be any pics of her throwing up said grass.

Cactus.  One thing I can keep alive since they don't need much water.  I'll probably overwater them or something now.

These shoes were placed for tripping,
And that's what they're going to do.
The shoes that were made for tripping,
Made my toes black & blue.

Todd, the green thumb of our house, planted this Japanese Maple last year.  We were worried about it making it through the brutal summer and freezing winter we had, but it's doing great!

I used my Cricut cutting machine to monogram the rockers on the front porch.
Now when we get old, we'll know where to sit. :)

Sorry if you don't like flowers.  You'll be seeing lots of them here until summer comes and kills them all!

Anytime you scratch a certain place on Steve's cheek, it brings about this snarled look.  It's hilarious!

Remember all of the buds and leaves coming in on the tree?  I didn't think they'd turn in to helicopters . . .

I spent a beautiful Easter Sunday at my Dad & step-mom's while Todd stayed home sick.

Some of the cows & donkeys

Kilee feeds the donkeys some carrots.  Cows get treats next!

Hayden sitting up like a big boy.

Same shot after I played with it in PS (sharpened eyes & popped blue).

Dad & Marilynn in the kitchen.

Papa & Hayden snuggle.

True plays with markers and books I got her.

Cropped with slight editing (brightness & saturation).

After more cropping, I edited again. I'm honestly not sure how I did this, but I really like it!

Today, Todd and I had family over since it was the one year anniversary of losing my grandmother, Mary.  We enjoyed the company of my Mom, her husband Rick, my brother Jeffrey, my brother Michael, his wife Danielle, and our niece and nephew, Aeva and Will.  It was wonderful cooking out, eating plenty, watching the kids play, seeing the dogs bond with everyone, probably drinking too much, and really just simply being together.  Mary would've had a great time, too!

Unfortunately, I was so busy prepping and cooking food that I took very few shots.  I did get this one of Michael and Will - who is almost three and has never liked having his picture taken.  However, now instead of crying, Will just makes goofy faces.  He'll LOVE these when he grows up!  :)

Did you know that Christmas appears in March?!

Todd bought me flower bulbs for Christmas and planted them a while back. Tulips (one of my favorite flowers) are slowly beginning to come in, and I can't wait to see how gorgeous they are!

I met two very special people for the first time tonight!

Yes, I FINALLY met my niece True and my nephew Hayden.  Aren't they precious?  We are blessed to have three nephews and six nieces - all of whom are beautiful and wonderful!

The atrium at the Gaylord Texas was FULL of incredibly beautiful plants, trees, flowers, and other foliage.  Both of these are SOOC, and I can imagine how beautiful they'll be after editing.
